✦ EXPECTED TO RETURN NOVEMBER 2026

Group sessions are coming back. 👀

I’m taking a short break from Group Sessions right now, but I’m planning to open new availability beginning in November 2026. If you’ve been wanting to learn the doormat process with me in a small live group, join the list and I’ll let you know when new dates open.

REAL GROUP SESSION ✦ LIVE ON ZOOM

WHAT A GROUP SESSION ACTUALLY IS

Not a webinar. A live working session.

Group Sessions are two-hour live Zoom workshops where a small group works through the doormat-making process with me in real time. The goal is not just to watch — it’s to understand what you’re doing, follow the process, ask questions, and leave with more confidence than you came in with.

01 8 people max

The group stays small on purpose so you still have room to ask questions and get help during the session.

02 2 hours live

Enough time to work through the process without turning the session into a rushed demonstration.

03 Learn by doing

Open Cricut Design Space, build the stencil, cut it, prepare it, apply it, and work through the doormat process as we go.

FROM SCREEN TO FINISHED MAT

What we’ll work through together.

The exact pace can shift based on the group and experience level, but this is the core process the session is built around.

01

Cricut Design Space

Start with a new project and learn how to build a doormat-ready stencil design inside Cricut Design Space.

02

Stencil Setup

Learn sizing, layout, preparation, and how to get your design ready for a clean stencil cut.

03

Cut Your Stencil

Use your Cricut machine to cut the stencil and understand the setup behind getting it from the screen to something you can actually use.

04

Assemble + Apply

If your stencil needs multiple pieces, learn how to line it up, tape it together, position it, and apply it to your doormat.

05

Paint Your Mat

Learn what paint and supplies to use, how to apply your paint, and how to avoid common mistakes while finishing the mat.

06

Questions + Troubleshooting

Bring the questions, designs, or problem areas you’ve been stuck on and use the session to get real-time help.

SMALL GROUP ON PURPOSE

You’re not disappearing into a room full of people.

I cap each Group Session at 8 people so it can still feel personal. You’re learning alongside other creators, but you still have the opportunity to ask questions, troubleshoot, and get help as we move through the process.

Depending on the group, we may work through one or two designs during the session. The pace can change based on where everyone is — beginner, intermediate, or more experienced — but the goal stays the same: make the process easier to understand and easier to repeat on your own.

THIS COULD BE FOR YOU IF…

You want to actually understand the process.

You do not have to be trying to start a business to join. You just need to want to learn.

✦

You want to make doormats for yourself, friends, or family.

✦

You own a Cricut but still don’t feel comfortable using it for stencils.

✦

You’ve tried making doormats but keep getting stuck somewhere in the process.

✦

You learn better when you can ask questions and see the process happen live.

✦

You’ve been thinking about learning a creative skill you may eventually want to sell.

WHY NOVEMBER?

Learn it before the year is over.

November is a good time to learn the process if you want to make something special for friends and family during the holidays, finally learn how to use that Cricut sitting in the corner, or head into the new year with a creative skill you feel confident using.

Maybe you just want a new hobby. Maybe you want to make handmade gifts. Maybe you’ve even been thinking about turning the skill into something you can sell. The session is designed to teach the process — what you do with the skill afterward is up to you.
