I take your direction and prepare the design so it works as a clean doormat stencil. If something major needs clarification, I’ll contact you.
I hand-paint + ship it
I cut the stencil, paint your finished mat by hand, package it, and get it headed to your front door.

Before you design yours.
Will I receive a separate mockup before my mat is made?
For most custom orders, no separate proof is sent. The choices you approve in the builder become the design direction I use to create your mat. Small font, spacing, sizing, or placement adjustments may be made so the design works cleanly as a painted doormat. If a major change or clarification is needed, I’ll contact you before creating it.
Can I upload a picture of what I want?
Yes. Use the inspiration upload inside the builder to send a screenshot, sketch, logo, reference photo, or other image that helps explain your idea.
What if I don’t know exactly how I want it designed?
That’s fine. Give me the wording, colors, vibe, inspiration, and notes you do know. Choose “Whitney, choose for me” anywhere you want me to make the design decision.
Can I request a color that isn’t shown in the builder?
Yes. Use the color-notes field to describe the color or combination you want. I’ll contact you if the exact request needs clarification.
Can I request something more complicated than the builder shows?
Yes. The builder is meant to communicate direction, not limit every possible custom idea. Upload inspiration and explain the request in the design-notes box.
Are custom doormats returnable?
Custom and personalized items are final sale. Please review your wording and customization details carefully before placing your order.
